Granbury artist Mike Tabor was commissioned by the Texas Rangers to create a life-size bronze sculpture honoring Hall of Famer Adrián Beltré. The statue celebrates Beltré's impact on the Rangers organization and his legacy as one of baseball's most beloved players.
Working from a pose personally selected by Beltré, Tabor captured the iconic one-knee swing that became a defining image of the third baseman's career. The sculpture was completed in just 73 days, bringing together Tabor's experience in figurative sculpture, his attention to detail, and a deep respect for the subject.
Unveiled at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the statue now stands as a lasting tribute to Beltré and his years with the Texas Rangers.
